I am Charlie Walker, a mum to 4 boys, and a blogger at My Life as Mumma Walker & Yummy Mummy Wannabe

This year I am trying to raise some money for Barnardo's Children's Charity.

I plan to do this by asking local tourist attractions to donate an amount of money when we visit with our mascots. We are not asking for free entry or special treatment, just permission to take a few photos and share them across social media to raise awareness for Barnardo's. Naturally we will give a big shout out to each attraction who takes part and encourage other people to visit too as a thank you.

I will publicise my fundraising attempts using social media and will publish links to my JustGiving.com account for Barnardo's. I do not plan to handle any cash from online donations myself, or make any money for myself.

I also plan to sell small home crafted items, such as keyrings and bracelets, and donate the money made (less postage and packing costs only) through Barnardo's eBay Charity Shop.
